Meet Lindsey Pantaleo of Lindsey Pantaleo Photography

I have been lucky enough to call Lindsey a friend and client and I'm so excited to introduce her today. One thing that you might not know is Lindsey is a skilled film photographer which is hard to find in today's digital world. Her airy and bright aesthetic is adored by so many and is hard to achieve. From time to time Lindsey has been generous enough to donate her skills to our blog. Thank you so much! I have so much respect for this working mom and I'm thrilled she's agreed to do this interview.

Q. How long have you lived in Jefferson City?

A. My husband, Nick, and I moved to Jefferson City in 2012. We are transplants from St. James, Mo.

Q. What’s your favorite aspect of being a local business owner in Jefferson City?

A. I love that there are so many local organizations and groups for young professionals to get plugged in, it made the transition moving to Jeff City so seamless. I also love the support that I have received from other business owners, I really feel like there is community for entrepreneurs in Jefferson City.

Q. When people are seeking to a hire a photographer, what should people be looking for?

A. Experience! There are so many photographers in the industry now, it was completely different from when I started. As the old saying goes, “you get what you pay for”, I wouldn’t trust my memories to just anyone.

Q. How long have you been in business?

A. 14 years! It seems crazy, but I started this business in high school. I have been full-time and what I would consider a professional for 6 years.

Q. If you weren’t a photographer what would you be doing?

A. I would be a farmer. Nick and I have always been farm kids and the dream is to live in the middle of a couple hundred acres surrounded by God’s beauty and every type of animal possible.
